In 2002, Twinings merged with Ovaltine underlining ABF's commitment to the beverage business and gave Twinings a leading presence in the £35 billion global hot beverages marketplace, particularly in the European, Asian and North American regions. We're international in scope and vision, but actually smaller than many of the major players in the £35 billion worldwide hot beverages market. But the advantage of our size is that we're able to be more agile, adaptable and responsive. We give our people real freedom to act so at a local level they bring our brands closer to our consumers. The challenge now is to maximise the performance of our existing business while driving further acquisitions, joint ventures and bold organic growth initiatives.
