Reporting to the International Regulatory Manager,  you will guide marketing teams, supply functions, project teams, and the Design and Development team to ensure that UK and international products are legally compliant in their relevant markets, and advise on existing and forthcoming regulatory issues.

Within the role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and forthcoming UK, EU and international food regulations; working with Tea Supply Chain and Commercial teams to safeguard the Twinings brand through minimising risk of non-compliance.

  • Ensure all ingredients and finished products are legally compliant for their intended markets.

  • Liaise with external bodies and third parties to deliver advice and guidance to Twinings on all aspects of food law to ensure the Company’s compliance with all UK and international laws as well as ABF Corporate policies.

  • Conduct product label approvals to support Marketing teams’ activities

  • Have expertise to ensure nutrition, health and other marketing claims comply with appropriate regulations and advertising standards.

About you

  • You will be educated to degree level in food science or relevant scientific, technical or legal discipline.

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food industry environment, providing regulatory guidance to commercial teams.

  • Using your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will have the ability to build collaborative cross functional working relationships
